Message	The mid-pipes replace the pipe sections that have the cats in them. The exhaust system becomes down-pipes to mid-pipes to cat-back exhaust system. The removal of the cats reduces back pressure, which is where the benefit comes from. Of course then the car is no longer street legal, oh well :-)
